Whiting & Partners runners-up in RSM charity netball tournament

Whiting & Partners took part in the second annual event run by RSM of Bury St Edmunds who hosted the mixed tournament at Culford School on Thursday 1 June 2017. The event was held in aid of Gee Wizz – a charitable trust raising funds for young people and their families with disabilities or debilitating illnesses such as cancer.
The Whiting & Partners team had great fun and successfully reached the final of the tournament to attain the runners up title among over 12 teams from local businesses around the area who came to support the cause.
A total of £1556.00 was raised from the event with groups paying to enter their team and taking part in the cake sale and raffle.
Team captain Jodie Turbin, Assistant Tax Manager from the Whiting & Partners Bury St Edmunds Office said ‘We were really pleased to take part and support such a worthwhile cause. There felt like some great team spirit amongst those that came along and the team really didn’t expect to do so well especially when they had so much fun! We are really looking forward to next year’s tournament.’
