Planning and Organisation
We will make contact with you in advance of your year end to discuss financial performance, key changes in the organisations, set timescales and agree an approach that work around your schedule.
Tailoring and Risk Assessment
Based on these discussions we will plan our procedures to ensure that we cover the regulatory requirements, assess key areas of risk and ensure that our plan is tailored to your organisation and the industry in which you operate.
Requesting Deliverables
Once our planning procedures have been finalised, we will work with you to ensure that key deliverables are requested and received in advance of the commencement of our audit/assurance testing.
Audit Fieldwork
Whether we are based at your premises or conduct the engagement remotely, our friendly teams will work with you to ensure the agreed milestones are reached and that all areas of focus are adequately covered by the work performed.
Completion and Reporting
Upon conclusion of our procedures, we will provide you with a comprehensive management letter/completion report which summarises our key findings. It is important to us to discuss the contents of this with you and drill down into the key risks and opportunities facing your organisation. These meetings are also important to gain feedback on how we have performed and enable us to ensure future engagements remain as efficient and unobtrusive as possible.
Ongoing Support
Whilst the annual reporting cycle may now have ended your team at Whitings remain on hand to assist you in a timely manner with any queries or issues you may have. We remain proactive and make contact should we become aware of any changes in legislation or other matters that may be relevant to you and your organisation.
