Louise started her accountancy career in 2008 training at a regional office of a national firm where she gained her AAT & ACA qualifications. She worked on compliance work for farmers, agricultural contractors, and their families. Once qualified she moved to a regional firm who specialise in looking after agricultural clients and continued to expand and grow her knowledge of this niche sector.
Having had a successful interview followed by a job offer in March 2020, Louise finally made the leap over to Whitings LLP in October 2020 just as the world began to open up again after the first Covid lockdown.
Louise is a manager at the Mildenhall office but also manages clients for other partners in the Bury and Kings Lynn offices, maintaining a predominantly farming client base. In April 2024 she took over as Chair of the firms internal Farming Group following James Cater’s retirement.
Outside of work Louise has a young family, although they’re growing quickly, and volunteers as Treasurer of her children’s school PTA. In her spare time, Louise enjoys crafting, baking and playing games with her children, watching a good film or planning the family’s next holiday.
