Dan joined Whitings in November 2020 as an Assistant Manager, having previously completed both his AAT and ACCA qualifications. Since joining, he has progressed to the role of Manager at our St Neots office, where he supports a wide variety of clients with their accounting and tax needs. In addition to client work, Dan plays an important role in mentoring and supporting colleagues with their professional development and studies.
He is actively involved in several internal specialist groups, including the Tax User, Corporate Tax, Property, New company start-Up Groups and is also currently one of the leaders in the MTD for IT group . Dan regularly contributes articles and blog posts to the Whitings website and client newsletters, sharing insights on key industry updates and practical guidance for business owners.
Committed to continuous professional development, Dan makes the most of webinars, articles, and collaborative learning within the firm to broaden his expertise and explore new ways to add value for his clients.
Outside of work, Dan has recently married his long-term partner and celebrated their wedding in Scotland in July 2025. Dan is also a passionate golfer and a member of The Millbrook Golf Club in Bedfordshire. With a current handicap of 8, he’s working on further improving his game and is always looking for new courses to play.
