Amanda Newman (Accountants Ely)

Amanda is a partner at our Ely office, she specialises in small businesses including sole traders, partnerships and owner managed Limited companies. She is also lead of our start up specialism, enjoying helping businesses through the early days of set up guiding them through incorporation of a company, handling book keeping and all of the compliance issues that come along with starting a business for the first time.

As well as her general practice work, Amanda is the partner in charge of payroll for the firm, working with the payroll team to grow and develop the specialism.

Amanda joined the firm in 2000, after A levels when she began studying for the AAT accounting qualification. She soon passed with flying colours and progressed to study with the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales, qualifying in 2006.

She has a wide knowledge of all aspects of accountancy and tax and looks after a varied portfolio of clients.

Outside of the office Amanda is kept busy with her young daughter, and enjoys running when she gets the chance.
