Another Prize Winning Student at Whitings

We’re delighted to congratulate Paolo Lucci, Corporate Services Senior at Whitings, on achieving the joint highest mark worldwide in the ICAEW’s Fundamental Case Study exam in March 2026. Paolo scored an outstanding 92% in a sitting taken by 1,961 students. This earnt him a place in the ICAEW’s Order of Merit and the Little & Walton Prize.
Paolo said, “This award is especially meaningful because exams haven’t always come easily to me, and I took a break from accounting for a few years. Since returning, I’ve made great progress in both work and exams, which has really boosted my confidence. This result has given me the belief that I can achieve similar success in my remaining ACA exams.”
Although Paolo works remotely, he’s very much a core part of the Whitings team. He specialises in Charities & Audits, and has received plenty of congratulations from colleagues across the firm.
We are incredibly proud of Paolo’s achievement and look forward to supporting him as he completes the final stages of his ACA qualification. Congratulations, Paolo, on a fantastic result and a well-deserved recognition.
