Whitings have been my accountants for 13 years and have provided an excellent service throughout those years. I have always found them to be thorough, efficient and helpful and I never hesitate to contact them with any queries I have regarding my company accounts or VAT-related matters. In the last 12 months my account manager, Ellen Carter has been particularly helpful, as she has advised me on the most tax-efficient way of dissolving my company.

I approached Whitings to help with a confusing HMRC situation, not sure that they would deal with an individual client with relatively minor issue - but found them extremely welcoming, and willing to assist, reassuring me that my concerns were unfounded, and offering some very useful advice and tips to apply going forward. Very welcoming, and answered all of my queries fully - I would highly recommend their services.

We met With Rob Dedman to hear what Whitings could offer us as a firm of accountants during the probate process compared to solicitors. We found Rob to be very informative, personable and patient. Chartered accountants in Wisbech since this was one of our practice’s founding branches in 1928.

Wisbech is an historic Cambridgeshire market town, nestling on both sides of the River Nene, at the heart and capital of the Fens. Trade originally prospered here as a result of the town being a tidal port, supporting brewing, livestock and pipe-making businesses. It has long since developed into a hub for farming, manufacturing and haulage businesses, along with recently being a growth area for large national retail chains.

Our Accountants office is located in the Crescent, which is a fine Georgian terrace arching around Wisbech Castle in the centre of the town. Within the office is a team of approximately 15 professional and support staff, split into accounts and tax departments. As well as providing clients with annual HMRC and Companies House compliance services they are also able to offer corporate finance advice and and tax planning services. Wisbech is also the head office for our wealth management subsidiary. Directly behind the office is a public parking facility, for clients to use whilst visiting by car for a meeting, or to drop off or collect records.

We offer a free initial consultation to potential new clients.
