I approached Whitings to help with a confusing HMRC situation, not sure that they would deal with an individual client with relatively minor issue - but found them extremely welcoming, and willing to assist, reassuring me that my concerns were unfounded, and offering some very useful advice and tips to apply going forward. Very welcoming, and answered all of my queries fully - I would highly recommend their services.

We met With Rob Dedman to hear what Whitings could offer us as a firm of accountants during the probate process compared to solicitors. We found Rob to be very informative, personable and patient. The hour long meeting was offered for free and we are very grateful for this service. We have not worked with Rob yet, but are likely to do so in the future. Based on this initial meeting, I would recommend other people considering Whitings for probate.

I used Whitings to prepare and submit a CGT return for me. The service provided was excellent. They were very professional and concluded the business extremely quickly. Not only that, they saved me thousands of pounds by a suggestion of something I could claim that I wasn't aware of and wouldn't have included if I had done the return myself.

Chartered accountants in St Ives since we purchased and merged with 2 local practices in 2016 and 2017.

St Ives is a beautiful historic Cambridgeshire market town, nestling on the Northern banks of the river Great Ouse. Here, it is strategically located, giving it easy road access to the A14, A1 and M11. It is also on the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway, so can easily and quickly be reached from both Cambridge and Huntingdon directions. There are numerous vibrant business parks in the north eastern quarter of St Ives. Because of this, St Ives has developed into a hub for many successful manufacturing, logistics and technology businesses. It also has a thriving city centre for shopping, which is completely taken over by the famous Monday market.

We moved to our current open plan two storey accountants St Ives office location in 2016. This modern office, in the thriving Compass Point Business Park, houses a team of approximately 10 accountants and support staff, with expertise in all areas of accounts and tax general practice compliance and planning work . Any visiting clients are welcome to use private parking in front of this office.
