2025 Fenland Citizen Business Awards: Celebrating Excellence

The Fenland Citizen Business Awards 2025, held at The Braza Club in March, was a night of celebration for the local business community. Over 200 guests, including colleagues from across the Whitings Group, gathered to honour outstanding achievements across various sectors. Hosted by Matt Biggin and introduced by Citizen editor Jeremy Ransome, the event was filled with excitement and community spirit.

  • Customer Care: March Fast Fit & Servicing
  • Agriculture and Environment Champion: Vine House Farm
  • Team of the Year: More Muzic Radio of Whittlesey
  • Employer of the Year: Rai & Rai General Builders of Whittlesey
  • Businessperson of the Year: Hollie Summerscales of Nine Twelve Hospitality
  • Business of the Year: Crown Lodge Hotel of Outwell
  • Whitings Prestige Award: The Five Bells pub of Tydd St Mary

Community Spirit

The event also highlighted the strong community spirit in Fenland, raising £1,662.50 for the Fenland branch of the Little Miracles charity. Raised through a private auction and generous donations on the night.

Special Guests

MP Steve Barclay and other special guests joined in celebrating the achievements of local businesses, emphasising the importance of supporting and recognising local enterprises.
