Quickbooks Connect

9th March 2018

The “Beast from the East” didn’t stop Accountants, the Self-Employed, Developers and Small businesses as they attended QuickBooks Connect London on 27th and 28th February. Attendees from all over the world had gathered to develop the knowledge in QuickBooks online, meet QuickBooks Add-on Exhibitors, hear from featured speakers who were specialists in their industry and network with other attendees.

A line-up of industry leaders took to the stage including successful business people, former MI6 officers, legendary footballers turned businessmen, chief HMRC information officers and accounting partners. They demonstrated the new advances in the QuickBooks Online platforms from the new practice management features with QuickBooks Online Accountant to the new QuickBooks Assistant featured within the Self-Employed mobile app which lets users ask their mobile device questions allowing the user to find key business information instantly and simply.

Over the first two days of the four day event developers competed in SmallBizHack to create new innovation that would help small businesses save time and money through developing new compatible apps to Add-on to the QuickBooks Online platform. The final two days were aimed at Accountant’s, the Self-Employed and Small businesses with workshops being held addressing Making Tax Digital (MTD), The 7 ½ Biggest Mistakes small business make, The Key Technology Trends to Impact your Business in 2018  and other workshops focusing on developing your business using the QuickBooks platform.
