Senior, General Practice: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
We are seeking a General Practice Senior to join the team at our Bury St Edmunds office. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and/or part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) and nearing full qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of General Practice experience. However, non-qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake various General Practice assignments, including accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a range of business clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies).
- Possess a solid working knowledge of UK GAAP and the required disclosures for both small and medium-sized companies.
- Has experience of using Cloud based accounting software.
- Communicate effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated, driven, and able to work well under pressure.
- Ideally, have experience mentoring and coaching trainee staff members.
- Comfortably communicate with clients regarding their financial and business procedures when necessary.
Working Hours:
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with some flexibility as long as core hours are covered.
