Manager, Corporate Services: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk

We are seeking a qualified ACCA/ACA professional with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Corporate Services department. Recently qualified individuals with matching skills are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage audit, accounts preparation, and tax compliance services for a diverse range of businesses (approximately 60:40 audit to non-audit work).
  • Oversee corporate work with turnover levels ranging from £5-25m and upwards.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Essential audit experience.

Salary/remuneration package on offer will be at market rates in line with knowledge and experience.

A Bit About The Role

Working within the audit and corporate services department, you will be responsible for undertaking high quality audit, accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small to large clients operating within the local area. Your role includes regular visits to client’s premises, working remotely and understanding how the business operates and the individual challenges that they face. You must be comfortable speaking to clients about their financial and business procedures. As a part of your role you will be committed to mentoring the team and encouraging others to develop. You will ensure working papers and files are complete and ready for associate and partner review and will take pride and responsibility for your work.

A Bit About You

The ideal member of our team would have: – Qualified ACA/ACCA – A great working knowledge of UK GAAP and disclosures required for both small and medium sized companies – Great communication skills, ability to work in a team and mentor others – Knowledge of the ISAs and experience in planning audit work – Comfortable communicating with clients when needed.
