Equity Financing Raised for Renewables Company
20th March 2022Whitings LLP, a member of The Corporate Finance Network, has successfully advised on matters surrounding raising a substantial sum of equity finance for a Renewable Energy business.
The shareholders approached the Whitings LLP Corporate Finance team for advice on matters relating to raising equity investment to continue its Research & Development projects within the Renewable Energy sector. This was crucial to the future of the business and Whitings were able to fully assist in the matters surrounding the fundraising.
Jonathan Moore, Jaimie King & the Whitings team advised on the share structure including the Cap Table. They also applied for Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) advance assurance that was promptly accepted. Financial documentation was key to a successful deal so Jonathan and Jaimie prepared detailed project cash flow forecasts and monthly management accounts.
Whitings Corporate Finance team also assisted with due diligence surrounding the fundraising. On completion the business obtained a substantial equity investment, is able to continue the project, and strengthen the sector expertise on their board to assist the company into the future.
