Shamus Joined the tax department at Whitings Bury St Edmunds Office as a trainee in July 2018. Before joining the firm, Shamus studied Business & Finance at West Suffolk College achieving the Business Student of the Year award in 2018. Shamus successfully completed his qualification with the Association of Taxation Technicians in July 2022 achieving not only a distinction in his final written paper, IHT, Trusts & Estates but also one of the highest marks awarded in the May 2022 sitting. Shamus currently works in the private client sector whilst specialising in all things land & property related. Outside of work, Shamus enjoys pursuing countryside sports, swimming & playing tennis.
