Sarah Lockhart-White (Accountants Bury St Edmunds)

Sarah joined the firm as Corporate Tax Director in October 2022 and has many years of experience advising corporate clients on the complex tax issues involved in running, restructuring and exiting their businesses. Sarah started her career working for the “Big 4” where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). She has also worked for local Top 10 firms and an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Hertfordshire.

Sarah works predominately with owner managed businesses, from SMEs to groups and those with international operations. Using her wealth of experience, she advises clients on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations and restructures, and also on obtaining all relevant beneficial tax reliefs for clients including Research and Development Tax Credits, Patent Box Claims and Capital Allowances. Sarah also prepares Share Valuations for commercial and fiscal purposes and advises on employee share schemes.

Outside of work Sarah has a strong interest in sport, regularly playing tennis at the Bury St Edmunds tennis club. She enjoys a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, cycling, skiing and yacht sailing. Sarah also enjoys watching motor sport and rugby.
