I had a complex capital gains tax matter and im so pleased I chose Whitings LLP. From the outset, the service was fast, thorough and highly professional. Unlike some firms I contacted beforehand, I never felt that they were money driven or trying to upsell unnecessary services. Instead they took the time to understand my situation and provided clear, practical advice. A special mention has to go to Charlie. Following our introductory call, he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, setting out the process clearly. I needed to submit my first self assessment tax return, but halfway through I was baffled. I went to Whittings and met a very helpful young man called Ben who said he could complete the tax returns for me. I supplied all the documents needed and everything went well. Then HMRC sent a coding which looked like I owed another £20k. I told Ben and he sorted it straight away. He also sent an email detailing what I need to do for the future. Excellent customer service, thank you.

We recently sold our business and retired. Whitings, under the guidance of Ian Piper and supported by his professional and friendly team, saw us through the whole process from the time we initially bought the company right up to it’s sale (some 14 years later). Ian was without fail, always on hand to offer help, advice and reassurance. We cant imagine having gone through it all without Whitings involvement. To help with the day to day business of Wolfguard Locksmiths and Pest control, we have instructed Whiting's LLP, Chartered Accountants for over 4 years to look after our accounts, and have always found their service to be reliable, efficient and informative. Whiting's LLP provide a monthly electronic bulletin which I find is a great help to highlight changes to tax laws and government legislation, especially following any changes made following the chancellors Budget and how it may effect a business.
