2025 Huntingdonshire Business Awards Final

Whitings LLP Were Proud Headline Sponsors of the 2025 Huntingdonshire Business Awards.

It was a night of celebration at The Huntingdonshire Business Awards 2025, where many local businesses came together to celebrate not only the winners, but all of the finalists, with Mike Blackledge, Amanda Newman and Paul Jefferson representing the Ramsey, St Ives and St Neots offices.

The night began by welcoming attendees, which included a speech by Mike Blackledge from our Ramsey office, representing Whitings LLP as Headline Sponsors of the event. On the evening Mike said that as Whitings LLP approach their 100th year in business, it was a ‘privilege to honour other local businesses in Huntingdonshire.’ Michelle Sacks the Chief Executive of Huntingdonshire District Council said operating a business in today’s current economic climate is tough but our businesses are the very lifeblood of our communities. So a huge thank you to sponsors for making it happen.

There were 10 awards on offer, the first of which was ‘Best New Business’, which I presented. This category is close to my heart, as I regularly work with start ups at Whitings. It was such a pleasure to see so many businesses celebrating their success and to be part of this celebration.

The overall winner was presented to Vicky Grant School of Dance by Mike Blackledge.
