Jake Day (Bury St Edmunds)

Jake joined Whitings’ Bury office as a Tax Senior in April 2021 after gaining four years’ experience at another local firm. Having been ATT qualified since February 2020, Jake currently works on a mixed portfolio of Private Client and Trust taxation and is experienced in dealing with Capital Gains Tax reporting. Jake is particularly interested in Inheritance Tax matters and the relationships between individuals and Trusts, particularly with the tax savings that are available in this area.

Outside of work, Jake is a keen football and basketball fan. He can be found either in a pub garden with his pals, at any live music event displaying some questionable dance moves, or on a football pitch on Sunday mornings.
